MISCELLANEOUS FUN STUFF

Project: Minnesota State Flag Redesign, 2023
Brief/Background: Simplicity and Recognizability: The flag should be so simple that a child can draw it from memory and can be easily recognizable from a distance. Distinctive Colors: Utilize a color palette that represents the state effectively. Limit the number of colors on the flag to three to four. Enduring Appeal: While honoring the state's history, the flag design should also represent Minnesota's enduring values and aspirations, emphasizing inclusivity and unity. Symbolism: The flag's images, icons, colors, and/or patterns should relate to what it symbolizes. Symmetry: The design should be symmetrical to a degree.

Project: Star Wars Founding Fathers
Brief/Background: As a big Star Wars fan I wanted to make a print featuring three of godfathers of Star Wars lore — George Lucas, Dave Filoni and John Favreau. It is made in a collage style, pulling images from different media (film, television, animation).

Project: Tucson International Mariachi Conference Poster, 2006
Brief/Background: Done as a school project for the Conference's poster design contest. Was submitted to the American Advertising Federation for the ADDY Awards and won Student Gold and Student Best of Show (Tucson Area) as well as Student Silver (Southwest Region).

Project: The Cyber Nerds Funko Pops
Brief/Background: Using an AI-powered image generator and a strong prompt, I created mockups of vinyl figurines representing The Cyber Nerds team.

Project: Joe Grind Album Cover Remixes
Brief/Background: I have been a fan of U.K.-based grime artist Joe Grind and decided to remix/update some of his album covers to a video game theme.
